A change in the Industry practices
Don we need to add this clause in our recruitment contract.
ReplyDeletePhillips Carbon Black is cracking the whip on recruitment firms as well. In a pact, with its recruiters, the agents will have to replace a candidate for free if he backtracks. In case, another agent provides the replacement then the first agent will have to pay 50% of the hiring cost.
How do the companies get the employees to pay the 5%, what is the lateral security?
ReplyDeleteActually while it's a good thought, Radhika is right that there is no collateral security and at best one can file a suit for breach of contract. Further how do you hire someone against his/her wishes. sounds good but low practicality. Adding it is no harm from a moral pressure
ReplyDeleteIf employer wants to cancel the offer due to any reason, then it might act against the companies in such scenario .
ReplyDeleteSecondly,We should adopt this practice preferably for senior managerial positions where risk & cost of recruitment is more.
